JUST4MOVE privacy policy
How quote-request information is used.
This policy explains the information JUST4MOVE Moving and Storage receives when you request a moving quote, how that information is used for your request, and the choices available to you. Last updated September 13, 2026.
Information you provide
A quote request can include your name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off details, move date and preferred time, access and building information, services, inventory, Certificate of Insurance questions, storage details, notes, and optional item photos. These details are used to prepare and respond to your moving quote.
How we use request information
JUST4MOVE uses quote-request information to review move scope, estimate planning needs, communicate about your request, respond to building or access questions, and maintain a protected staff record. A request does not confirm a booking or guarantee a final price. Final scope, route, building requirements, availability, and written confirmation are required before a move is scheduled.
Website chat and automated receptionist
When available, Maria is identified as a virtual receptionist before a conversation continues. Website-chat messages, consent, lead details, quote snapshots, and timestamps are stored in a protected staff record so authorized staff can review and continue the conversation. Maria does not confirm a booking, invent prices, or guarantee availability.
Transactional and marketing consent
Submitting a quote request requires authorization for JUST4MOVE to use the provided information to prepare and respond to that request. Optional marketing consent is separate, unchecked by default, and is not required to request a quote. Transactional quote communications, when authorized and enabled, are distinct from marketing communications.
Calls, messages, and recordings
Call, text, email, and chat communications may create operational records when a corresponding business channel is available. SMS, MMS, voice, and external email delivery are not activated by this policy. Before any SMS channel is activated, its consent notice will explain how to use STOP and HELP. Before any call-recording or transcription feature is activated, JUST4MOVE will provide the applicable recording or transcription notice.
Retention, access, and deletion requests
Quote requests, consent evidence, and related delivery records are retained for up to 24 months for request handling, records, and operational follow-up, unless an approved deletion request or legal hold changes that period. You may request access, correction, or deletion review by contacting just4movenyc@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, safety, or dispute purposes.
Photos and documents
Optional item photos and documents are kept in the protected staff record for quote review. They are not included in transactional quote-email summaries unless a separate attachment policy is adopted and communicated.
Recipients, service providers, and analytics
Request information is available only to authorized JUST4MOVE staff and service providers that support hosting, protected file storage, route-distance estimates, and operational tools. The website may use aggregated analytics to understand site use; do not enter personal information in any non-form field. Route distance may be calculated from submitted addresses; commercial truck toll prices are not currently available and are excluded from informational estimates. The existing TextFree and Thumbtack relay process is not changed by this policy.
